Life throws alot of curveballs, you manage to either strike the ball or no. But with every strike, you learn to adapt. Do you ever miss the old you?
When Did It All Change?
You forget how to laugh
You forget how to smile
You forget who is close
You forget who is real
You don’t trust your judgment,
between farce and sincerity.
You don’t trust your heart,
and its placement of vitality.
So, you decree
an extreme alteration.
Subtly fearing,
the probable adaptation.
You remind yourself,
what you have forgotten,
You begin to wonder,
when did it all change?

Things change. Nothing lasts, that's true.
Doesn't mean we can't put up a fight to hold on to what is dear to us, even if it means resisting the external pressure to change.
Wouldn't you agree?
how long are you willing to fight? you will one day look back to your life only to see all the anger and dissatisfaction that resulted from all the fighting.
Anger and dissatisfaction for whom? For others or for yourself?
Between the two, whose happiness and satisfaction do you think you should be focusing on?
